Hello,
Just wanted to check if anyone else had problems with kcheckgmail. I enter my user/pass but it always fails to login. Has anyone else had this problem?

Yes I have tried it with and without the domain name and with and without using kwallet too in case there was a mistake, quite a few times now to avoid the embarassment of things like caps lock, etc. The password field only has 3 characters in it when I go back to settings each time and I have logged in and out of the gmail site a few times to make sure all else is working fine. |

I also have a problem with kcheckgmails coding - I use iso-8859-2. The program is translated into polish but polish characters are not displayed (propably it still tries to use iso-8859-1).
Conclusion: kcheckgmail is a piece of crap... |

Hi all,
I'm trying to make kcheckgmail orking on my desktop....
When I start kcheckgmail using the command line, I get following message:
Code: |
which: no gwget in (/usr/bin:/bin:.....)
which: no d4x in (/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin:......)
which: no nt in (/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/.....)
which: no aria in (/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin:/....)
|
First I think that some dependencies are missing:
- gwget
- aria
- d4x
This made my kcheckgmail watcher working.
I Hope it helped you...
regards
Vincent[/code] |
