|
|
Hi guys!
When I am not wireless I use a remote machine as following:
xhost [remote machine]
telnet [remote machine]
login: ---
password: ---
DISPLAY=***-***-***-***:0.0
export DISPLAY
Then I can run programs on the remote machine having X running on my machine.
The problem I am having is when I am wireless behind a router. I set the virtual server for telnet on port 23, same for port forwarding (having for both "any traffic" allowed). Then I telnet the remote machine like I would usually do but when I run X I get the following message:
Initialization error: X server not responding
: "***.***.***.***:0.0"
Any idea?
Thanks
Efo
