Ok,

Basically if I am on anything near the right track.

What I have done, I somehow lost all the basic config files in my /etc.
The only access I have to my computer as it is in a different city is though webmin command prompt.
I can not start SSHD because I'm missing it's config and passwd files.

So what I am trying to do with my ext3 file system is get a list the deleted inodes? by using

Code:

echo ls | debugfs /dev/hda3

but my problem with that I can not change the directory to /etc as I do not have a live prompt to work with.

So if anyone has any idea that would be great, or if anyone knows how I can start sshd without working config files and without writing to much to the hard drive.
