Hi
Can someone just look at these two pictures and tell me what exactly is being used for the desktop (and all the apps involved like the panel... everything you can tell me basically about the desktop)

The first one is KDE with a pretty crappy osx like theme (notice the pinstripes) and a custom icon set (probably nuvola). the bar on the right is gkrellm, and the other items are probably karamba.
the second one could be any of a half dozen light wms, though its probably a *box (openbox, fluxbox, blackbox). the starterbar and side bar on that both look like gdesklets. |

Third one looks like FVWM with gDesklets (+a lot of addons ) |

in the third screenshot...
what is that system status app (that shows disk usage,cpu...) it is also in the second screenshot I think... _________________ It's all about open source |

Quite possibly it's 'xosview' or 'torsmo' or 'conky' or some other derivative. I suggest you have a look at the 'screenshots and configs' section over on the FvwmForums.
