Okay, here's my situation:
I've got an xbox game I'm trying to ftp to my xbox at 192.168.0.3.
My wireless is eth0, and my wired line is (for some reason that I do not know) sit0.
when i run '/etc/init.d/net.sit0 restart', it kills all data transfer from eth0 (which won't transfer until I kill sit0)

My /etc/hosts file is just:

And my /etc/conf.d/net:

config_eth0=( "dhcp" )
config_sit0=( "192.168.0.2 netmask 255.255.255.0" )
routes_sit0=( "default gw 192.168.0.1" )

without the routes_sit0 line, it doesn't stop my eth0 transfers, but it still can't tap my xbox.

Anybody know why??

sit0 is a generic 6to4 tunnel - I doubt very very much that it's a wired or wireless interface _________________ Use dhcpcd for all your automated network configuration needs Use dhcpcd-ui (GTK+/Qt) as your System Tray Network tool
