|
|
I'm setting up samba shares on my home network and everything works perfectly except for one PC. When i want to open a share of this machine I get asked for a username and password. This doesn't happen on the other pc's. Even when i try it with the same config that works on the others.
Any ideas?
The only difference is that the pc that doesn't work is a AMD 64bit and the others are 32bit.

I found the problem.
My shared dir was not readable for the nobody user.
This caused samba to ask for the username and password.
Changing the permissions fixed this. |
