since the game engine is open-source you can emerge it
To play the "full-version" you have to copy the quake-"Full-Version"-datafiles to the correct location, thats all
i have quake 1 + 2 + 3 running on my ibook g4 |

Have you running the hardware 3d aceleration ?
I have a powerbook with nvidia target, and it has not binaries for ppc. _________________ Powered by gentoo · Linux User #324026 ·

i have the ibook with radeon9200 ..... where 3D-acceleration is available in the kernel.
(For newer radeons there is another driver that is capable of 3D i think ...)
But as far as i know there is no 3d-acceleration for nvidia available under linux/ppc. |
