anyone having trouble with yourfilehost.com?

Problem:
when you have multiple tabs open, and you access yourfilehost.com(must be to media
try http://www.yourfilehost.com/media.php?cat=video&file=www.skoften.net.doe_het_zelf_dan.wmv
then download the file, ( dont complain about content, just rm it. )
then you close that tab with topright close button which yourfilehost.com is opening.

result: whole firefox crashes (closes)

anyone having the same trouble?(1.5-r2)

current work around for me:
just go to another website like google.com on that tab and close.

javascript, plugins, other nasty things that might cause the crash are disabled.

You could at least give a little warning about the content, if it's going to be "Not Safe For Work"

well, it didn't open any window, it just started playing in mplayer-plugin. It didn't crash FF though.

I mean "download" the file, instead of watching it. I forgot that there was built in, since i am on 64bit and using 64bit firefox.

When I click "download this file" it just gives an save-as dialog, it doesn't open any new windows or tabs. and again: no crash :)

--edit:
I did find a crashing link of my own though: http://www.apple.com/trailers/fox/x3/hd/, click "Announcement Teaser".
It's the new XMen trailer.

nono, please read my first post, to make it clear,
open several tabs (lets say you open 3tabs with google.com)
open another tab with that video link
click download and save it.
close that thisfilehost tab with tab-close-botton in top right.
the whole window will close instead of that tab.

As stated, I did that, nothing happened :)
All I get is the gnome-save-as-dialog-box, no extra tabs/windows are opened. Saving the file and closing the tab doesn't do anything strange.
Have you tried my link?

what do you mean? I need other "extra" tabs to be opened. like 4 or 5 tabs with any website, then open up an another tab with that video link, and click download file and download the file, close that tab with top right button.

I tried your link, nothing crasshy.

I do have other tabs opened, What I am saying, is that clicking "download" doesn't open any new windows or tabs, but just gives a standard save-as dialog.

I thought I stated that quite clearly: :?

I am starting to suspect mplayerplug-in for the crash. It seems as if it is having problems with some HD streams

#emerge mplayerplug-in

I am not able to see the apple trailers :( and also firefox is some kind of "unstable"
Did someone find a solution?
Thanks
