Bonjour à tous,
je viens d'installer gentoo sur une machine équipée d'un P4 avc gestion de l'hyperthreading.
Les options corrects ont été choisies pour la compilation du noyeau et tout a l'air de fonctionner correctement.
La seule chose qui me chifonne est que lorsque je fais un top, ce dernier rapporte que l'utilisation du cpu est toujours à 50% en idle. C'est comme si le reporting de l'utilisation cpu ne regardait qu'un seul cpu, ou pire comme si un seul cpu seulement fonctionnait.
Y-a-til certaines options ou USE flags à acriver pour résoudre ce problème.

Et en appuyant sur la touche '1' ?

This command affects how the 't' command's Cpu States portion is shown. Although this toggle
exists primarily to serve massively-parallel SMP machines, it is not restricted to solely SMP
environments.
When you see 'Cpu(s):' in the summary area, the '1' toggle is On and all cpu information is
gathered in a single line. Otherwise, each cpu is displayed separately as: 'Cpu0, Cpu1, ...' |

50% en idle  ? Ca veut dire qu'un des CPU est à 100%... |
