I have a cable modem connected to my wireless router.
Its about 6 feet away from my computer and i have a high powered omni-directional antenna hooked up to my linksys wireless G pci card.
I use to start my internet connection and it works fine.
But after a short while, It stops sending and receiving packets for like a minute or two. Then it resumes and happens again after a while. Its gets really annoying when im trying to download something and it stops midway. can anyone help me find out how to fix it? |

Does it happen if you use another compter as a client?
are you using P2P or are you using a one-connection transfer like http or ftp?
If you are using P2P or a download accelerator, it is possible your wireless router is running out of memory |

Sometimes i use p2p, but it affects that too. I go online and surf around and it happens on that too. What ever is happening is effecting every aspect of the net on my computer including instant messaging. |
