Support for Intel Xeon 2,8GHz Dual-Core

Does anyone have experience with hardware support on Gentoo for Intel Xeon 2,8GHz Dual-Core, chipset Intel SE7520JR2, RAM 4 x 512MB/DDR2-400/ECC/REG

we have a plenty at work, im pretty sure its standard chipsets so you just need to enable smp in the kernel.

out of interest why would you want such a rig, p4 based chips are seriously fsb limited not least dual cores, put that into a xeon board with low speed high latency ddr2 ram and an ecc buffer not to mention HyperThreading seriously bites in many apps and i would lay odds a standard dual core amd64 at a reasonable closk speed sould be faster in many apps than that quad core rig.
