|
|
When I try and install OpenOffice i get the following:
Code: | --------------------------- ACCESS VIOLATION SUMMARY ---------------------------
LOG FILE = "/tmp/sandbox-openoffice-bin-1.1_beta-3865.log"
open_wr: /dev/pvrcore0
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
Its the same for the latest source ebuild as well. I don't have a /dev/pvrcore0 as far as i can tell. At a guess I'ld say that it's something to do with my kyro II graphics card, but i've got no idea why. |

This is probably a bug in the ebuild, it means the installation procedure tries to access a file outside the sandbox. The sandbox is a protected area where programs get installed first before they're moved to your real system. Just wait for it to be fixed.
Btw, I didn't know there was an ebuild for openoffice 1.1b yet...*sigh* the portage tarballs always lag behind and I'm stuck behind a http proxy |

I have the same problem with openoffice (except I'm trying version 1.0.3). I also have a Kyro II card, so maybe their is some conflict. |
