I have a large collection of real media videos that I would like to let avaliable for my colegues (don't worry they are all free). But the size of them is huge. So...
Is there any package to help me compress the real media videos? I heard that people use a single file with multiple qualities.. Since they will be avaliable for download (not streaming) I think that saving only one quality would be best.
Should I zip (or something) a rm? Which one would give me the best results?
I don't want to loose quality, only to save some space in my server. Is there un-used informaion in a rm that I could delete to save space?
Thanks
EDIT: I might let them avaliable in CDs.
BTW: I'm talking about OCW video lectures from MIT |
