You can pull the new provisional ebuild from the bug's attachments and set it up in your own local Portage Overlay. See Storing your own ebuilds locally in the Ebuild HOWTO.

thanks John, I already knew that. It's easier just using the source, it does not require any compiling. It runs directly from the folder you extract the tarball to.

I just thought it was strange that it was not in portage yet, since the ebuild is available already....

Beta ebuild for the source code is here. Works with gcc4.1 with minor changes.

Hi

Any chance for a final inclusion of flock in portage?

Bye

I'd like to second this. This is a really great project, and I'd hope it's beginning to become mainstream enough to warrant inclusion.

I don't think this can be included into portage yet because of the collision on filenames. Once that is fixed, then it can be included hopefully. Until then, I think Flock is "bugged" and developers do not post things to portage when something is incomplete.

Cheers.

I wonder why anyone really needs an ebuild, unpack it and use it

set a soft link to the plugins directory to /usr/lib/nsbrowser/plugins/

and enjoy
