Hi all!
I'm thinking about buying the Acer Aspire 5672WMLi. I see it has a ATI X1400 with 256MB. Can anyone tell me if this card works already (preferably with 3d-accelaration) and if not, if you think it WILL work in the future?!
Oh, and does anyone have a 5672 already?? Didn't find TOO much in the forum yet...
Thanks for any oppinions

AFAIK there is currentliy no support for the ATI X1x00 cards neither with the binary driver nor with the opensource one.
Hopefully ATI will support these cards with the next driver release. |

Mhh...does anyone has any experience with the 5672 at all?
I should get mine in a few days. Hopefully most things will work!? I don't mind if the x1400 is not woking PROPERLY yet, I don't need 3d-acceleration very urgent |

I'm still trying to get Bluetooth working on mine, but you can build your own wireless driver:

It got mentioned in a few other threads. The drivers work quite well actually! So, the only things left are the orbi cam and a few things I didn't test yet, like memory card reader... |
