Hay,
all of a sudden I dont have the menu when I click the right mouse.
the right mouse button , does work on other application.
Where to seek salvage?

Yes, a common Xfce4 problem. The only way to solve the problem is to delete your ~/.config and ~/.cache directories. You will need to redo your Xfce setup. Afterwords, make backups of .config and .cache so that the next time isn't quite so painful.
I also suggest upgrading to the ~arch or SVN versions. I have not experienced this problem since I upgraded. _________________ --Aaron |

BTW If I can recall correctly it's related to different (other than "en_US") language settings, so if you want to keep this version, you can try Code: | LC_ALL=en_US xfdesktop |
And if it resolves your problem you can edit yourxfce startup script to always start like this. _________________ Do not believe that Guru thing under my nickname. |

I do this:

killall xfdesktop
gconftool-2 -s /apps/nautilus/preferences/show_desktop -t bool false
xfdesktop &
