I installed vmware and decided to go the win4lin route so I unisntalled vmware. I was scared to death to reboot after uninstalling vmware but all went well. I still have the ghost of the vmware file in /etc/init.d and I for got how to update and remove that. I think its rc-update remove and the file name or somthing.
