Hi im running a older Laptop (Thinkpad 700MHz) with a videocard that has only low opengl-performance (about 150 fps in glxgears).
Should i nevertheless use the glitz use-flag when i emerge cairo and gtk+? |

Are you trying to install xgl? Are you sure that your video card is supported? |

no, i dont care about XGL, i was just reading some Interview with a gnome developer and it sounded like this stuff could also speed-up the 2D-rendering in mozilla and in general. |
