localhost init.d # ./syslog-ng broken
* Re-caching dependency info (mtimes differ)...
* Re-caching dependency info (mtimes differ)...
* Could not get dependency info for "clock"!
* Please run:

* # /sbin/depscan.sh

* to try and fix this.
clock
hostname

localhost init.d # /sbin/depscan.sh
localhost init.d #

ive emerge base layout..

and i think this has SOMETHING to do with depcache and/or rc files some people regened they depcache and it was fixed and rc files are what get the errors 10 times for each as i said earlier. is there a way to rebuild depcache? if so tell me

if i do get an answer here DONT FORGET TO BACK IT UP if something else goes wrong!

EDIT:
i fixed modprobe error.. it was loading a backup of my ALSA.conf and it was a card i dont use anymore and it didnt know what it was.. so i deleted the backup and no mroe error!

EDIT2:
stray files in /init.d/!!!!!! idk how they got there but NO MORE ERRORS

thanks!
