Hi, I have four harddrives in a server that are all formatted ext3. I would love to convert all of them to reiserfs, but unfortunately I don't have enough space to move all the data off and repartition them. I can for one, but it'll be tricky and won't help me with the other three.

I can probably guess what the answer is, but I thought I'd put up a post anyway just in case. Is there any way I could convert them on the fly (i.e. without my data still on the drives)?

IMHO it is not possible. But if you have server and maybe you have raid then try xfs.

Even if you could it wouldn't be wise to do so without backing up the data first. That puts you in the same spot.
