Hi, I have four harddrives in a server that are all formatted ext3. I would love to convert all of them to reiserfs, but unfortunately I don't have enough space to move all the data off and repartition them. I can for one, but it'll be tricky and won't help me with the other three.
I can probably guess what the answer is, but I thought I'd put up a post anyway just in case. Is there any way I could convert them on the fly (i.e. without my data still on the drives)? _________________ --Jayson

IMHO it is not possible. But if you have server and maybe you have raid then try xfs. |

Even if you could it wouldn't be wise to do so without backing up the data first. That puts you in the same spot. _________________ --Aaron |
