So, I'm entering the world of the ALPHA. So far so good, and the instruction manual says to use vanilla-sources. That's fine with me, I guess, but I wanted to know if the gentoo-sources were usable at all or if they just panicked.. _________________ Votre moment detente

I'm enjoying 2.6.9-gentoo-r9 on my Rawhide (AlphaServer 1200). Rock solid. Old as shite one might say but as it works fine I haven't been upgrading the kernel hysterically the last days.
Of course I would also be interested in 2.6.12.... |

I've sorta been neglecting alpha kernels lately.. just been too busy with other Gentoo stuff. But I should get around to bumping the kernels in the next few days |

Indeed, vanilla 2.6.12 seems to be running fine, and at least you've got me convinced. |
