init bloccato, sblocco con Ctrl-q

mi succede una cosa strana all'avvio dopo un crash. ho ripreso tutti i log del filesystem e lui non genera errori. solo che al riavvio si blocca durante l'init su

quindi credo che l'operazione l'abbia eseguita visto che il cursore scende di una riga.
ho fatto una ricerca sul forum e tutto quello che ho trovato era a richiesta di uno che doveva vedere un messaggio d'errore e gli hanno consigliato di stoppare l'init con C-s e riprenderlo con C-q. ebbene, ho detto... tanto è bloccato che succede se lo pigio? ebbene con un C-q il tutto riparte, solo che al riavvio successivo si blocca sul caricamento di alsa nel medesimo modo.

al che il dubbio: esiste un modo per fermare il boot in caso di errore che io possa aver accidentalmente attivato?
