Can I boot into linux using the LIveCD, and then insted of choosing the commandline installer or the pretty GLI installer, Could I open a terminal and do a manual install of say, a stage 3 install? _________________ "WARNING: you may LOL"
This is my font size, color, and signature. It will change to whatever I pick. How cool is that?

Yes. However, you'll probably want to use sudo in order to acquire a root shell, for example:
You may just as well download the "installcd" ISO image if you have no intention of using the gentoo-installer and you can be sure that you will have Internet connectivity throughout as it is considerably smaller. |
