I currently play World of Warcraft on Gentoo but I've got other games working like Diablo 2, Counter Strike and Guild Wars. All of these are emulated through cedega.

I play Doom 3, NWN, Lugaru. I'm going to get Quake 4, the Doom 3 RoE expansion and one of the Unreal Tournament games at some point.

All native of course. I don't support companies that don't produce Linux games.

I guess it is worth it, worth 10 bucks I mean ;-).

Some day I decided to only buy native linux games. My way of support!

So, I play Quake 3 & 4, Doom 3, Enemy Territory, UT2k4 and America's Army. I hope Quake Wars will also be released natively for Linux 8).

Didn't even bother to reinstall ut2k4 after I wiped my box a month ago. The only game I play atm, is TC:E, which rocks imo!

Can't wait till RC1 of TC:E 049 comes out. :P

Definitely. It's cheap, and we know that it (and tons of cool mods for it) works great now, as opposed to several (anywhere between 2-10 months) after UT2007 is eventually released (anywhere between 0-20 months from now)

Plus, the UT2004 cool mods are likely to enter Portage soon, and you can grab the ebuilds from bugzilla anyway.

Doom, Quake3, Quake 4, Wolfenstein, Enemy Territory. UT2k3
Big id fan, but the quake4 version comes to a halt every 10 min, but I managed to finish the game! I suspect memory leaks.

Games I play:

GameBoy Roms (VisualBoyAdvance)
OpenTTD
SNES Roms (ZSNES)

Games I wish I could play:

Commandos 3: Destination Berlin
Football Manager 2006
SimGolf

I'm not totally happy with the performance of VisualBoyAdvance however (so I play more SNES than GBA); it consumes a lot of CPU (ok, not too strange for a game) and just isn't very smooth. ZSNES on the other hand is perfect, a really geat emulator! While i'm on the subject does anyone have any recommendations for Sega Genesis (Mega Drive) or Sega Master System emulators? :)

Does Counter-Strike Source work well with wine? Or are you guys paying for Cedega?

Quake 4. Anyone that says it gets old doesn't play with teh right crowd... it's truly one of the best games ever made (along with it's prequals). The engine is incredibly simple... you strafe, move, and shoot. No button combos to memorize, just aswd and mouse. UT2004 has those strafe jumb combos but they are hard for me to pull off... I need to practice them... but quake 4 has that animal like nature... very organic if you will, that makes me just love to play it. Unfortunately, on anything but a blazing fast system it's slow as dirt... and even then it's still slow compared to other well coded engines like UE2.

I also play UT2004, but I'm not always playing that... when I get bored, I play NWN or Postal 2.

All the games I listed but one are fps's, there's a problem with that. I want more AAA games that aren't FPS. I want RPG's, I want platformers, I'm tired of doing the same old shit (strafe, jump, shoot, die).
