Ok I have to issues my cdrom won't mount can't access it and yes i am in the cdrom group
Second issue is I got a cheap webcam and all and it won't even work i did like the guide said but doesn't work and i am in the video group
Third I use my sda hdd for gentoo aand if i put in my hda hdd it doesn't work

my /etc/stab:
Code:

NOTE: If your BOOT partition is ReiserFS, add the notail option to opts.
/dev/sda1               /boot           ext3            noauto,noatime  1 2
/dev/sda2               /               reiserfs        noatime         0 1
/dev/sda3               /windows        vfat            noatime         0 1
/dev/sda6               none            swap            sw              0 0
/dev/cdroms/cdrom0      /mnt/cdrom      iso9660         ro              0 0
#/dev/fd0               /mnt/floppy     auto            noauto          0 0

# NOTE: The next line is critical for boot!
proc                    /proc           proc            defaults        0 0

# glibc 2.2 and above expects tmpfs to be mounted at /dev/shm for
# POSIX shared memory (shm_open, shm_unlink).
# (tmpfs is a dynamically expandable/shrinkable ramdisk, and will
#  use almost no memory if not populated with files)
shm                     /dev/shm        tmpfs           nodev,nosuid,noexec     0 0

EDIT: fixed cdrom needed to be /dev/hdb

im just transferring all my info from that hdd to windows and then using Gentoo to get the info then im formatting the hdd as a linux partition and then moving all the stuff back so i don't have to deal with the filesystem crap cause it says the filesystem is corrupted but its not cause i can access the files perfect from Windows but not Linux so thats why im doing to other thing cause i hate ntfs
