Hi,
i want to have some entries in grub, which do different things on booting, e.g:
- starting gdm/xdm with xgl
- starting gdm/xdm with xorg [better for battery-use]
- do not start gdm/xdm, if i do not need X (or it crashes at startup ;))

is there a way to give grub or the kernel some options to do this?
or is there another way to do this (maybe a special script, which gets special arguments from the kernel-boot-options)?

thanks,
daniel
