I've got a Lucent Winmodem, and I got it to work pretty easily and quickly in Gentoo. The only complaint I have is that I don't have sound. In windows I can hear the modem dialing, and it's much easier to test if I can hear it hang up or dial instead of having to run to a phone. I was just wondering if anyone else has this problem? Or has a fix?
