i own a toshiba tecra m2 with the following
0. Intel 855PM System Chipset
1. Pentium M Dothan 745 Processor (1.8 GHz)
2. nVIDIA GeForceFX 5200 Go (32/64 RAM)
3. Intel Mobile 1000 Network Adapter
4. Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network Adapter
5. Toshiba Bluetooth
6. SMC Infrared
7. SD Card Reader
i want to know if gentoo will support all my hardware and if this support is out of the box. if not could you please help me with a fiew tips.

I've a Tecra M2 with 755 (2.0 Ghz) CPU.
Yes for 0 to 4 (follow nvidia guide for the graphic card). 5 needs smcinit package. 6 needs experimental toshiba-acpi kernel patch and toshset package to enable bluetooth. Never tried to make 7 work.
Finally you may want to take a look at this howto if you want to undervolt your CPU.
