Hi, i got an atheros wireless card. I want to choose acces point. Every time i try to conect to one, it conect to the worst avalible
i did

Code:

iwconfig ath0 essid A-104
iwconfig ath0 essid "A-104"

and all i found, but nothing, it stil try to conect to the worst spot.

in kcontrol, it give me some error and for get the card to start again i need to erase /etc/conf.d/net.
It work, but it take 2 minute every time to dhcp... :roll:

Can i get a nice interface like in windows for choose the spot manually?

*i use the lastest madwifi (unstable), older stable were not better

You can force it to connect to a specific AP

Code:

iwconfig ath0 ap <MAC_ADDRESS>
