Hi.
I have the feeling that since some time images that have been scaled up or down look more "pixely" than before. I notice this in for example GQview and on the KDE desktop background. Could it been that some lib has been replaced by a newer/other version that has a less smooth scaling algorithm, or is this an optical ilusion caused by my transfer from CRT to TFT?
Or is there some option somewhere to set the smoothness of scaling algorithms (I suppose this is processed in some imglib)

TFT is much sharper than CRT, so that's probably what you are seeing. It's sort of a trade off: TFT is sharper while CRT has a better color range. _________________ "...as we enjoy great advantages from the inventions of others, we should be glad of an opportunity to serve others by any invention of ours, and this we should do freely and generously." -Benjamin Franklin |

And a TFT is less deep, so I now have 50 cm to put my keyboard on instead of 20. But damn, I hoped it was something solvable...
