How do I set up my system to use ntpd and localtime? Setting the clock to UTC is not an option as I have to boot Windows from time to time...
Probably this is a FAQ but I can't find an answer...
Oh yes: using ntpdate does work, using ntpd fails :?

Starting up my system it resets to winter time and ntp reports problems in its log:[code]28 Mar 07:19:54 ntpd[24005]: synchronized to 195.47.215.226, stratum 2
28 Mar 07:19:54 ntpd[24005]: time correction of 3599 seconds exceeds sanity limit (1000); set clock manually to the correct UTC time.[/log]
But using ntpdate I get the correct time...

That's what ntp-client is for. See wiki.

But I can't use ntp-client to keep my system in sync all the time, right?

ntp-client performs the big sync at bootup. ntpd performs the continuous small changes.

Edit: Fixed my ntpd/ntpdate mixup.

ntp-client starts ntpdate and ntpd seems responible for all minor changes, but I get the point.
Currently the clock is not shifting, but I wonder how it will behave after a reboot...
