I've set up my PSC 1210 with HPLIP and it works great. However the color of the print (of a PDF) is dark gray rather than black (which is the case with printing the same PDF in Windows). Here are some CUPS settings:
Printout Mode: Normal (Color cartridge)
Resolution, Quality, Ink Type, Media Type: Controlled by 'Printout Mode' |

thats because the printer is using the color ink for black. set the "Resolution, Quality, Inktype, Media Type" to "300dpi, Color, Black + Color Cartr." . That should fix the black thing. I really don't know why thats default. _________________ shuttle sn25p
