Why are my fonts in KDE so small? 10pt fonts in KDE are as big as 8pt fonts in windows. At first I thougt this was a linux problem, but in Gnome 8pt Tahoma is exactly the same size as under windows. Is there a way to solve this?

Yeah I know. But that doesn't solve the problem, it's just a workaround...
