My Gentoo box running with ~x86 in make.conf has 2 versions og KDE installed (3.4 and 3.5)
a few bloopers have left me running revdep-rebuild and other stuff, leading to both KDE 3.4 and 3.5 being recompiled. Needless to say, this takes a lot of time. And lately I cannot get KDE 3.4.3 to compile either leaving me with a prtly broken system.
Is there a way to rid myself of all the KDE 3.4 packages in one single, swift operation?

emerge -Cp ~`ls -d /var/db/pkg/kde-base/*-3.4* | cut -d/ -f 6 | tr $'\n' ' ' | sed -e "s: : ~:g"` _________________ Please make sure that you have searched for an answer to a question after reading all the relevant docs. |
