Ist it possible to use mplayer as "background-image" with fvwm??

If I'm not mistaken, you can run mplayer with the -rootwin flag to have it draw to the root window (you can confirm it in the man page). This should work in fvwm AFAIK since fvwm doesn't "take over" the root window. Run it in conjunction with the -fs flag to get it full screen.
Not sure if this was what you were looking for though?
When you've found something you like, you can make your fvwm settings file launch it at startup. _________________ rcxAsh |
