I'm using xorg 7 and have been for a while, all of a sudden - didn't change any configs or emerge anything different, my mouse stopped working. I use a logitec usb laser standard mouse. In my xorg.conf I have the standard imps/2 protocol and zaxis mapping turned on for 4 and 5. My mouse still works fine in console mode, i forgot how i did it at first but I have it set up so while in any of the base consoles you can use the mouse as a cursor, but anything in X the mouse is stuck at the center of the screen. So it's getting power and is bieng recognized properly, it has to be something to do with X but I can't find anything I changed recently. Also tried different login managers, same problem. Before this konqueror was failing to load up but I'm not sure that has anything to do with it. Sorry for the bad formatting, typing from links2. :P

Schweet, found it out on my own. Still really really wierd tho. For some reason my mouse input got switched from /dev/input/mouse0 to /dev/input/mice. Used cat to verify where xorg.conf was looking for input was actually giving input. Anyone know why it would randomly switch this? :?
