T2400 1.83Ghz. Any options I should select on the LiveCD for CPU optimisations?

(Gentoo Nublet here btw)...

Default settings are fine. But you can try other settings if you want.

Thanks, had a browse but remember, I'm still pretty new to Gentoo...

Can anyone experienced in this offer any advice? I'm installing a standard Pentium-M which I believe is Centrino, but not sure where to go for the duel core...

Aside from enabling SMP when you compile your kernel, the settings for a dual core CPU are the same as a single core CPU.

You know, I've been playing around so much I saw a config file which showed me exactly what my kernel CPU settins were...

I can't find it now.

But in any case, it's Pentium-M kernel with SMP enabled and it seems to be running fine!
