/var/lib/init.d/depcache: line 58: 2585 Broken pipe                   ( [ -e "/etc/conf.d/${myservice}" && source /etc/rc.conf ; f ] && [ "${myservice%%.*}" = "net" ] && [ "${myservice##*.}" != "${myservice}" ] && source /etc/conf.d/net ; [ -e /etc/rc.conf ] && source /etc/rc.conf ; f
depend ()
{
                return 0
} ; function depend ()
{
                need checkroot hostname;
                before bootmisc;
                return 0
} ; depend )
touch: cannot touch '/var/lib/init.d/depcache': Read-only file system
touch: cannot touch '/var/lib/init.d/deptree': Read-only file system
* Failed to cache service dependencies

From there the boot process returns to normal. Has anyone an idea what is going on?

greetz,

wimbo

I think this is the same as
https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-442146-highlight-cache+service.html
and emerging baselayout should solve it?
