2.6.16.1-nitrowar1 "Serenity"
What is it?
This NitroWar-sources release is a nitro patchset based on 2.6.16.1 stable kernel version, featuring -ck patches, suspend2, reiser4, eCryptfs, unionfs and nitro configuration menu. There are no -mm patches in this release.
I have only very limited hardware to test it (compilation tested only for x86). If you get it work for other architektures, please make a note.
Update
This release is based on 2.6.16.1 kernel.
Never SquashFS - 3.0, Suspend2, eCryptfs-1.5 and UnionFS.

Howto install ?

GENTOO:
1)create directory <OVERLAY_DIR>/sys-kernel/nitrowar-sources (substitute <OVERLAY_DIR> according to overlay path)
2) PROMPT>cd <OVERLAY_DIR>/sys-kernel/nitrowar-sources
3) PROMPT>wget http://files.myeburg.net/nitrowar-sources/2.6.16.1-nitrowar1/nitrowar-sources-2.6.16.1-r1.ebuild
4) PROMPT>ebuild nitrowar-sources-2.6.16.1-r1.ebuild digest
5) PROMPT>USE="symlink" emerge nitrowar-sources
6) PROMPT>cd /usr/src/linux
7) configure, compile and install your kernel
if in doubt about how to do it, consult the documentation in the kernel source directory

eCryptFS works as own package very well, so maybe it wouldnt be added in feature releases.
Dont try mount destination located on reiser4 with eCryptfs, it cause system freeze.
Undervolt Patch is out because there is no actual patch there and i personaly dont realy understand how it works  |
