Hi everyone.

I have an LCD that has lost its signal to 128 pixels on the left hand side of the screen. I still have a 890x768 screen though (this is for a DIY projector). Would I be able to easily modify the Xorg (or some other X) code to start drawing at 128 instead of 0? Where should I start looking?

Thanks,
colin

You can try to change the modeline of your monitor. Read the xorg.conf manual how to do this.
To calculate the correct modeline you can use this online calculator.

Hope this helps!?
