The red vertical line that moves along the waveform as the tune is playing only shows up sporadically - usually the first time a play a wav, but subsequent times it is gone. Wav plays fine, but not vertical line (bar) that shows where you are in the wave form. Anyone else see this?

I've just re-emerged it (I have ~x86 in my package.keywords) but no change.

if more info is needed, happy to supply it - /jd

[edit] This behavior is same with KDE 3.5.1 and fvwm-crystal. And it pretty much shows the bar every time on the first play of the tune, mpg or wav, and then pretty much is gone on second attempts and beyond.[/edt]

I may have found my issue on the sourceforge site- I'll just have to try to downgrade fox:

Quote:
The source for FOX can be obtained at http://fox-toolkit.org

It looks as though they've just gone to 1.6.x .. and that
changes the library name.. so rezound would not be able to
find a library called libfox-1.6.. Hence you'll have to go
with a 1.5 release. I current have 1.5.7 installled:

ftp://ftp.fox-toolkit.org/pub/fox-1.5.7.tar.gz

Except that I can't find what looks like it should be fox, I find this:
Code:
linux-ant ~ # emerge -pv fox

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

Calculating dependencies ...done!
[ebuild   R   ] x11-libs/fox-1.2.6-r2  +cups -debug +opengl +truetype 0 kB

That doesn't look right. ??

Emerge the latest available ~x86-Package in Portage (fox-1.4.11).

Worked for me!

I unmerged fox-1.2.6-r2 and emerged fox-1.4.11. When trying to start rezound now, I get
Code:
rezound: error while loading shared libraries: libFOX-1.2.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I'll try a few things.. /jd

Yep, just had to re-emerge rezound with the newer fox installed. Seems to work fine now.
