check it out at globs.sourceforge.net and submit your results
it's still a alpha, but looks very promising.
to get the newest release:
Code: |
svn co https://svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/globs/globs/trunk globs
svn co https://svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/globs/benchmarks/trunk globs/src/benchmarks
(if you don't have svn, emerge subversion)
then do a:
cd globs
scons
./launch
(if it won't start, check your requirements using:
emerge scons python gtk+ pygtk sqlite pysqlite sdl-image -vp
and check what is missing
|
you can easily upload your stats to the sf page, but that part still needs some work
my results on a dual p4 2x2.4ghx, 1gb 400mhz rd-ram, geforce fx 5900 with 128mb

To get it to compile I had to delete all the non-english characters in po/de/de.po
When I try to run it, I get this:
Code: | linux globs # ./launch.sh
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "globs", line 28, in ?
from Globs import app
File "/root/pfiles/globs-0.1/new/globs/src/Globs/app.py", line 26, in ?
import benchmarks, hwd, user, local_db, submit
File "/root/pfiles/globs-0.1/new/globs/src/Globs/user.py", line 22, in ?
from pysqlite2 import dbapi2 as sqlite
ImportError: No module named pysqlite2

Maybe you missed something?
Quote: |
Requirements
* SCons (Building)
* Python (Program)
* GTK2, PyGTK (GUI)
* SQlite, PySQLite (offline DB)
* OpenGL headers and libraries, SDL, SDL_image (Benchmarks)
|
I think you miss pysqllite.... in version >=2 (maybe its masked by keyword as it was for me (AMD64)) |
