every time I compile I get this echo every 10 secs:

So now you know....If you haven't really make any adjustments to cpu clock then I suggest you emerge lm_sensors and control cpu temp and fans speed. |

Looks like your cpu heatsink needs cleaning. Dust alone is enough to cause this. |

Thanks for the replies guys.
I have not changed any cpu settings or features in my kernel. I generally stay away from anything cpu related (blew one up once). I will clean my heat sink and see if anything changes.
