amd64 foomatic-db-engine....ACCES_DENIED

Hi all,
I hope this is the right part of the forum to post my trouble....

I have built my gentoo (stage1) box on an amd64 (native 64bit)....all went smoothly but...
when I try to install foomatic-db-engine it CRASH!
it crash in the last part, after compiling, when it tryes to install the package in the perl directory....
the error say "ACCES_DENIED"...it's not able to create the folder "Foomatic" in /lib64/perl/5.8.8/.....something
I'm at work now....I don't have the right error....but....someone have any ideas?

Please follow up to problems installing printer / foomatic.
