Hello,
I use XGL/compiz with the nice cube plugin. Does anyone know wether there are other bodies than a cube available? What about a cylinder or a ball ?
Thanks a lot! |

Nope, xgl and compiz are still alpha, so don't expect any other plug-ins other than the ones it comes with. |

No other bodies but you can change /apps/compiz/general/screen0/options/size to change the number of sides the cube has. Max is 32, that's about as close to a cylinder as your going to get. |

recently i've lost the capability of having more than 4 sides (virtual desktops) on the compiz cube.
i can set /apps/compiz/general/options/size to any value (e.g. 10) in gconf-editor, but it doesn't change anything...
i think this started happening since the recent replacement of gnome-window-decorator with gtk-window-decorator...
anyone else experiencing this or is it just me? |

It's from the additions from the plane plugin.
size is out, the new options are hsize and vsize.
Just add them in the same place as integers if they aren't in gconf. |
