How are you rotating it? If you use Ctrl + Alt and arrows I think you can only go sideways. Try holding Ctrl + alt then left click somewhere on the desktop and drag. |

Theres nothing up there. I think you have to edit a config file if you want to put a picture up top. |

You can do a topic search on the XGL thread which is very usefull.
https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-442410-postdays-0-postorder-asc-highlight-skydome-start-0.html
You really should read the instructions for XGL to understand that the config
is done using gconf-editor.
For the top of the cube you will want to go here
/apps/compiz/plugins/cube/screen0/options/svgs and add a svg image.
I only had luck with a 1600x1200 svg image.
For the skydome you will need to read this
http://macslow.thepimp.net/?p=31
Using this command "glxinfo -l | grep GL_MAX_TEXTURE_SIZE" in a terminal will
give you an idea what size png image you will be able to use in the skydome entry here
/apps/compiz/plugins/cube/screen0/options/skydome_image _________________ Core i7 920 D0 | Asus P6T DLX | Patriot Viper 1600 6GB | Antec Quattro 850W
