Hi,
I've tried to play sounds with banshee and quodlibet and got some error notification popup dialogs with messages:
" internal data flow error "
" alsa-reset: pcm drop error: input/output error "
" could not get/set settings from/on resource "
I asked around on #banshee IRC channel, they said that this is gentoo-related and i should ask on #gstreamer. There i was told to try:
Quote: |
fausto@ryba mp3_3_other % gst-launch-0.10 playbin uri=file:///mnt/music/mp3_3_other/1.mp3
Setting pipeline to PAUSED ...
Pipeline is PREROLLING ...
ERROR: from element /playbin0/abin/audiosink/actual-sink: Could not get/set settings from/on resource.
Additional debug info:
gstalsasink.c(570): set_hwparams (): /playbin0/abin/audiosink/actual-sink:

ERROR: pipeline doesn't want to preroll.

In the gstreamer-properties i set the audio output to alsasink of course. The banshee devs say i wont be able to use banshee without this working. gstreamer devs say it is gentoo-specific. Did anyone manage to get this fixed? |
