wireless network getting interference from my cordless phone

ok so my wireless network (802.11b) in my house keeps crapping itself because the cordless phones i have in my house are also 2.4 GHz. is there a way i can prevent or fix this so it doesnt?

Seriously, that might be what you end up doing. Before doing that, you can play with the WLAN a little. In the US, the cards operate on one of 14 channels (0-13) and are set to 6 by default. Most stuff will let you modify the channel that the WLAN works on. You have to change ALL of the devices or they won't speak to each other.

Some brands of phone are worse than others. We tried two and then just went back to 900Mhz.
