Hi,

How can I configure NetworkManager to not get a dhcp lease? I use static IP's at work, and then dhcp at home, so I need to be able to easily switch between them. I normally use quickswitch, but surely networkmanager can do it.

Any help would be great!

Thanks

i read in mail.gnome.org that networkmanager totally overrides any net.* settings of gentoo.
can anybody confirm that?

they also plan to add in version 0.7 in nm a option to add static ip.

Yup, NetworkManager doesn't even look at the Gentoo network config.
