tftpboot Netra X1 - no mknod ? [SOLVED]

Hi,

I am trying to install gentoo on a netra X1 using tftp image gentoo-sparc64-2005.0-20050717.tftpboot from Weeve (sticky section of forum).

However I can't create /dev/md* for mdamd due to lack of mknod or /dev/MAKEDEV in the image.

Is there a way to create the device nodes with tools from the image ?

SOLVED: installed system on hda first, rebooted and set up mirror after that. System is now running nicely with 2006.0 and gentoo-sources 2.6.15-r8.
